Gift of Life Institute is an international training center for donation professionals offering comprehensive, interdisciplinary resources for skill-based learning, continuing education, collaborative research, and consulting services. Established in 2004, Gift of Life Institute is the non-profit education and research arm of The Transplant Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization supporting the objectives of Gift of Life Donor Program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In January 2005, Gift of Life Institute moved into a new state-of-the-art clinical and conference facility in what is known as Olde City, Philadelphia.  Since our inception in 2004, we have designed and facilitated training workshops for more than 3,300 donation professional on family communication and consent, donation after cardiac death, hospital development and board retreats.
