Mr. Nathan founded the Institute in 2004 with the vision of creating a center of expertise for training, education, collaboration and research for organ and tissue donation and transplantation professionals.

Through its affiliation with Gift of Life Donor Program, one of the most experienced OPOs in the nation, the Institute has the unique opportunity to provide learners with real-world and real-time instruction. The Institute offers multi-day trainings on family communication and consent/ authorization, hospital development, call center communications and DCD. In addition, we conduct webinar series bringing together national leaders on topics of current interest to our colleagues and we provide unique in-depth practicum opportunities to both national and international learners.
