Visiting Philadelphia

Gift of Life Institute is located in Philadelphia’s historic Old City neighborhood, the "cradle of independence." Our offices are located within a short distance of the City's many great historic and cultural attractions and major hotels.

Old City features many of the most prominent historical landmarks in the United States, including: Independence Hall, where the U.S. Constitution was signed; the Liberty Bell; the National Constitution Center; the Betsy Ross House; and Independence Visitor Center.

We are within easy walking distance of Center City Philadelphia and an array of attractions such as Love Park, the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University, the Franklin Institute, the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Barnes Foundation museum.

If you’re looking for some Philadelphia culture, attend a concert or dinner on Spirit of Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing, shop and walk through South Street and Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens, and figure out what the costumes, dancing, and folk music are all about during the Mummers Parade every New Year’s Day.

The Institute’s offices are located within a 20 to 30 minute drive of the Philadelphia International Airport and a 10 minute drive from Amtrak’s 30th Street Station. Philadelphia is also conveniently located between New York City and Washington D.C., both easily accessed by train.
